The WIRE CIRCUS is a program developed by wire sculptor Tim Flynn. In groups of 10-15 children, ages 9-15, the children first learn to make wire sculpture, learn the history of the circus, then create different acts of the circus from wire. The 15 hour class is 3 hours a day for a week, culminates in a performance using the sculptures and themselves as characters.

The WIRE CIRCUS has grown over the years. It now includes a circus ring, trapeze, tight-rope, backdrops, original circus music, costumes, musical instruments, and a remote control circus train!

  The WIRE CIRCUS has toured from Denver, Colorado to Auvillar, France, which grows and changes with each new performance.
